Description
Beginner Latin/Ballroom is designed for slightly older kids 6-10 years old. At this stage of development most children's coordination and cognitive abilities are advanced enough to perform slightly more sophisticated dance steps. In this dance class we will introduce children to the basics of Ballroom and Latin dancing. We believe that your child's education should be well-rounded. Therefore we utilize the European method of teaching of dance by introducing children to both Ballroom dances (such as Waltz and Quickstep) as well as Latin dances (such as Cha Cha and Rumba). In this dance class we will focuses on the basic timing, movement and technique of International style Latin and Ballroom dances. Class covers pre-bronze dance syllabus steps. Students learn simple dance routines that can be used for performances .
